PK-Sim introduction workshop: A crash course to get you started with OSPsuite version 12

Do you want to increase your capabilities to support decision making in drug development with PBPK? This one-day workshop will teach how to use and leverage the Open Systems Pharmacology (OSP) suite for translational modelling to inform First-in-Human, Drug-Drug interactions (DDI) and virtual population investigations.
A mix of hands-on and demo sessions to provide first-hand experiences for future modelling activities.
We will utilize the standardized and well-established whole body PBPK model provided in PK-Sim® and introduce supporting functionalities in R.
The workshop covers aspects such as:
- The fundamentals in PK-Sim
- The fundamental functionalities in the auxiliary R-package ospsuite
- How to set up and establish PBPK models in PK-Sim
- How to approach population simulations
- How to retrieve reference compound files
- How to address in-vitro in-vivo relationship in different species
- How to perform standard DDI simulations
- How to setup R based workflows to facilitate standardization, reproducibility and traceability
